New Online Programs Announced

Kirtland Community College's  Health Information Technology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree combines billing, coding and records retention skills to work in any healthcare setting, meets all federal regulations and includes critical ICD-10-CM training required in all records retention systems. Upon completion of this program you will be able to sit for the national certification examination in Health Information Technology offered by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management.  For more information, click here.

Grand Rapids Community College offers an online Information Security Associate in Applied Arts and Science degree. The Information Security Degree prepares individuals to assess the security needs of computer and network systems; recommend safeguard solutions, and manage the implementation and maintenance of security devices, systems, and procedures. Includes instruction in computer architecture, programming, and systems analysis; networking; telecommunications; cryptography; security system design; applicable law and regulations; risk assessment and policy analysis; contingency planning; user access issues; and troubleshooting.  For more information, click here.
 




The Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative allows students the opportunity to take classes that aren’t available at their own college for various reasons, while still receiving support services at their convenient "home" college. All credits earned at “Provider Colleges” transfer back to the student's “Home College”. The Michigan Community College Association created the MCCVLC in cooperation with Michigan’s community colleges as a vehicle to provide access to more courses and programs for students.
