How Do I Access My Classes?
|
The VLC provides courses in a flexible, student-centered and convenient
format. Colleges may use a variety of different delivery formats for
their courses. The following is a general description of the course formats.
- Web-based course: This format provides the course
over the Internet via the World Wide Web. Students will need a web
browser and access to the Internet. Most courses will require special
passwords to access course information via the web. Quizzes and tests may be administered online or via an authorized test "proctor".
- On-line telecourse: This format combines telecourses
with an on-line component. The course includes viewing videotape or DVD presentations,
text readings and learning activities conducted electronically via
the Web. Quizzes and tests may be administered online or via an authorized test "proctor".
